Baltic Nordic Fringe Network
Independent festivals.
Shared horizons.
A network connecting artists, audiences and independent arts festivals across the Baltic Nordic region.

Connections across borders.
BNFN brings together ten festivals in seven countries. The network supports artistic exchange and helps artists explore new stages and touring possibilities across the region.
For the 2027 season, the full network expects more than 850 events on over 90 stages and spaces in ten cities, between May and September. These are planning estimates across all ten member festivals.

One call. Local decisions.
The 2027 global artist call is BNFN’s eleventh annual joint call. Seven festivals participate through one shared Eventotron application, while each festival keeps its own artistic identity and selects its own programme.
Artists can apply to one or several participating festivals, opening up the possibility of a regional tour. Selection, dates, venues and financial terms are agreed directly with each festival.
Tallinn and Žagarė use their own application processes and are profiled separately. The website presents nine festival profiles from the ten-festival network.
Space for many kinds of work.
Fringe programmes create encounters across disciplines, cultures and career stages. The joint call welcomes experimental, hybrid and work-in-progress proposals, alongside more established forms.
Each festival has its own focus and practical conditions. Explore the profiles to find where your work fits and which dates could form a realistic touring route.
