Separate application route

Tallinn Fringe is an open-access festival with its own participation process. Artists and producers contact venues directly to arrange performances, and may also source or create a venue of their own.

Around 100 distinct shows are anticipated for 2027. Venue decisions are expected during February–April, so make contact early. Tallinn does not participate in the BNFN joint artist call.

Open access

Tallinn’s process centres on artists and venues agreeing performances directly. You can also source or create your own space; confirm the arrangements with the festival and venue.

Fees and arrangements

There is no festival application fee. The festival does not determine the terms of individual venues: discuss performance dates, costs, technical provision and financial arrangements directly with them.

Make contact early

Venue decisions are expected during February–April 2027. The festival runs from 18 August to 18 September, overlapping several other BNFN festivals. Allow enough time for travel and technical access when planning a tour.

How to apply

Use Tallinn Fringe’s own festival and venue process. The BNFN 2027 Eventotron application does not cover Tallinn.

This profile summarises the 2027 guidelines. Confirm the current application process, deadlines and participation terms directly with the festival.

Programme sizes, venue plans and selection dates are indicative and subject to each festival’s final arrangements.
