2027 joint artist call
Finfringe brings new performing arts ideas to Finland’s oldest city. Its curated programme connects local and international artists with audiences across professional venues in Turku / Åbo.
The festival welcomes artists at different stages of their careers, including applicants under 18. For 2027, it plans around 15 stages and approximately 20 local and 20 international acts. These figures are planning estimates, subject to the final programme.
The opportunity
Finfringe is looking for new performing arts ideas for its curated international programme. Its professional venues provide a setting for artists to meet new audiences and share work alongside local and international peers.
Venue and artist terms
The festival offers performance space with basic technical provision. Artists receive 80% of ticket income. Confirm the venue, technical access, deductions and payment arrangements in your individual offer.
Young artists
Applications from artists under 18 are welcome. If your team includes young artists, tell the festival early so it can discuss suitable venues, working hours and adult support. Artists below legal age cannot be programmed in venues that serve alcohol.
Selection
Offers are targeted for the end of January 2027. This is an indicative timetable. Apply through the BNFN 2027 listing in Eventotron and include clear technical needs, company size and date availability.
Programme sizes, venue plans and selection dates are indicative and subject to each festival’s final arrangements.
