Before you apply

A few useful answers.

Who can apply?

Artists from all countries and territories, at every career stage. The joint call spans many disciplines and welcomes experimental and work-in-progress projects. CPH STAGE’s BNFN opportunity is for Nordic-based artists; check each festival’s profile for specific eligibility.

How many festivals can I choose?

Choose one or several of the seven participating festivals in a single Eventotron application. You can submit more than one project. Each festival makes its own selection.

What does participation cost?

Fees, ticket shares and technical support vary by festival. Most list a €30 application fee, with exceptions for Stockholm and Oslo. Read the fee comparison and confirm your individual offer before accepting.

Are travel and accommodation covered?

There is no general guarantee of an artist fee, travel reimbursement, accommodation or ticket income. Any support must be agreed in writing with the individual festival.

When will I hear back?

Selection is rolling and based on artistic criteria, programme balance and venue availability. Indicative offer dates vary from November 2026 to March 2027. Tell festivals early if you need a letter for a mobility grant.
